A beautiful and distinguished family.
A private island.
A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy.
A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive.
A revolution. An accident. A secret.
Lies upon lies.
And if anyone asks you how it ends, just LIE.
I almost gave this 4.5 stars but in the end I couldn’t give this anything less than 5. The truth is I really I nothing I can say about this book other than I highly suggest you go into this with absolutely no knowledge of what is going on. That’s what I did.
The only thing I knew for sure was the end was supposed to be this huge surprise twist that is leaving everyone with their mouths hanging open and I wish I hand’t even known that much.
Once again, I can’t really tell you anything. All you really need to know is in the synopsis. It’s about a rich family who lives on a private island, at least for the summers. A brilliant, damaged girl; a passionate, political boy. A group of four friends—the Liars—whose friendship turns destructive. will warn that when you first start, the writing seems kind of choppy but that’s because the narrator is unreliable and has lost a lot of her memory. I wouldn’t even tell you that much but that’s revealed at the very beginning.
Read the synopsis. A revolution. An accident. A secret. Lies upon lies. True love.
Seriously, just go read the book.
