Thank you to Netgalley and Eden Finley for giving me this in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts are my own opinions.
This is a coming to terms with oneself type of story. Garret and Blaire are coming to terms with their sexuality and being in a relationship with each other. This is one of those stories that you just want to jump in.
(PSA: I actually read this book with reading the others in the series and it didn’t impede my experience at all. While couples from the others books make an appearance in this one, you don’t have to know their stories to get the most out of Garret and Blair’s.)
This is a very character driven story and I think it works really well. I love how real the relationships in this story read. I have read a lot of M/M romances and most of the time it has a lot of insta-attraction/lust that turns into love in like two chapters. This one unfolds slowly while the characters come to understand their feelings. This isn’t the perfect relationship by any means and they have their ups and downs but that’s what makes the story so relatable.
If you are looking for a good LGBTQ+ story or if you have never read one before then this is a good one to start with.
